North Texas Vintage Thunderbirds is a chapter of Vintage Thunderbird Club International http://www.vintagethunderbirdclub.net/index.htm. We currently have over 50 members in the North Texas area. We always have room for more. We promote the care and preservation of all years of Thunderbirds from the first year 1955 to the final year 2005. While a good portion of our members will own the early to mid 60s, we welcome all years to our club. NTVT meets throughout the year at different locations. Click on the "Meeting Schedule" tab to see when the next meeting is scheduled to take place. Call one of our officers or send us an email for any questions you may have.
Getting to know who we are:
The members of NTVT come from a varied background of business, government, educators, retired and those that would like to be retired. We all have one thing in common. We love to get our Vintage, Classic or Modern day birds out as often as we can and reminisce of the days gone by.
In our club are many that have vast knowledge of these great cars and everyone is willing to help and support members that are going down the road of restoration. This knowledge can be very valuable in that just by asking a question of someone that has been there before, you may save yourself many hours of hard work, as someone will have already done it.
We don't just work on these great Birds, as stated...we drive them and we usually drive them to some place to eat and enjoy the fun time together. We try to meet each month except November. As we continue to expand and upgrade our WEB site, we hope to have many links to other clubs, restoration parts and classic car shows in the DFW area.
