Information
The challenge these days is driving the car enough to keep the seals wet and gasoline fresh. The monthly NTVT meetings help with this and have provided some great friends and memories. Now to get back to work on the '60.

Story
I purchased my 1964 Thunderbird in 1990. I found the '64 to drive when I decided to take my 1960 off the street for restoration. This car would be my transportation to work for the next 9 years. To get to work these next nine years it would take a new engine, transmission, suspension, floors, carpet, headliner, paint, cooling system, and air conditioning work. In the last few years I have had the front seats reupholstered and replaced the inside door panels. No matter what you have done there is always more to do with a 42 year old car.
After retiring the car from daily transportation duties I decided to join the VTCI and start attending the regional conventions. On the way to my first convention I lost the rear axle bearing in San Marcos. The second regional found a blown transmission in Pasadena. I am happy to say that the car has made it to the last three regional conventions with no incidents.
