North Texas Vintage Thunderbird Club

If you missed the most recent meeting, you missed a great time at the Lone Oak winery in Burleson. After a tour of the winery, we had a wonderful lunch and sampled the wares of the Winery. A great time was had by all!

The next NTVT club outing will be June 14, 2008. We voted to exercise the birds a bit and have a fun cruise out to the Audie Murphy / Cotton museum located at 600 Interstate Highway 30 E in Greenville, TX 75403 (phone 903-450-4502).
This will be a picnic lunch followed by a visit to the museum (tickets are $4.00). Everyone pack and bring their own lunch and lawn chairs. We can “trade stuff around” after we get there.

Those of us that would like to caravan will meet in the parking lot north of Sears in the Town East Mall in Mesquite (exit 7 off I-635). We will depart the mall at 10:15 AM and caravan up I-30 to exit 95 (I think, there is a sign).

There is a grove of trees on both sides of the museum entrance road that we will turn into our parking and picnic grounds for the day. If it is more convenient to drive direct rather caravan, we shall meet you there! We have invited the “Little Bird” club members to join us as well so come out and let’s make new friends in Birding!
